A theme park is always a great destination for holidays with your family, partner or friends. As I saw in Barcelona many advertisements for PortAventura amusement park I decided to give it a try.
Honestly, the thing that motivated me most, was the Amaluna show of Cirque du Soleil which takes place in PortAventura Resort between 3rd July – 23rd August.
I bought one ticket promotion offered by the rail company Rodalies de Catalunya: train journey + 1-day ticket to PortAventura theme park + entry to Amaluna for 95 euros.
This offer ticket can be bought only from the train stations in the day of the departure. I bought it from the train station(Renfe) called Estacio de Franca, near the metro line Barceloneta(L4).
The park is in the south of Barcelona, Salou, Tarragona, Spain; on the Costa Dorada and you have to take the Train Line R16 if you come from Barcelona, check it’s timetables and the stops here. If you want to get there with other transportation method have a look here.
Divided in 6 worlds: Mediterránia, Polynesia, China, México, Far West and SésamoAventura, it fits for all tastes and ages.
Be prepared for many restaurants, shops, roller coasters, water slides & live shows🙂
